How do I even begin……?? For me, this year has been one of so many “firsts” – moving into our first home, beginning a blogging adventure with my mom, and for those who may not know, this will be Brandon’s and my “first” family Christmas card (we got married in April.) So along with this year’s whirling around, we needed to get a head start.
All the above being said, Mom and I are “fa,la,la,la” loving our partnership with Minted for our 2017 Christmas cards.
Professionally, I have been recommending Minted to my clients for the last couple of years. If you are not already familiar with this company, you certainly want to be. Their expressed goal is to be known as the place “where great design comes from,” …by connecting… ” you to the best independent artists.” All Minted designers go through a competition and voting process which enables them “to bring you endless fresh, truly unique art, stationery, and home decor you won’t find anywhere else. ” That alone gets me excited to explore their finds and offerings.
If all the above were not enough, Minted is a company obsessed with quality. In a time when the average and look alike reign, it is refreshing to discover a business culture of excellence.Minted takes their role in people’s lives seriously and is honored for their products to be a part of “your most personal celebrations.” In their ongoing pursuit of quality, they use “only fine paper stock, rich inks, and crisp printing methods.” In these and other ways, Minted is committed to creating exceptional quality paper goods- including holiday/Christmas cards, stationary, wedding invitations, and much, much more. You must visit their site to see and appreciate the stunning collections they offer. With so many creative options, you can select the perfect one for you and your family.
Although this process may be a breeze for you, some find creating their holiday/Christmas cards, along with the addressing/mailing, a very overwhelming and time consuming experience. Needless to say, Mom and I were elated because Minted makes the process simple. Once our favorite photos were picked, we narrowed down the selection by our desired card shape, font, price, and etc. By choosing the “Finding it Fast Option,” we could immediately see what the finished product would look like. Thus, we were able to make our final decision with confidence and relative ease.
I was also super excited to discover that Minted would address our recipient envelopes forFREE! Having our recent wedding spread sheet available, it was a cinch to upload to their site. Now our Christmas cards will arrive with their matching envelopes… already pre-addressed…..HOW AWESOME IS THAT! …..Talk about a time saver!!!
For an additional charge, they will also pre-print your return addresses, customize a personal text on the card back, or add extra photos. AND….IF…..you are feeling especially creative or don’t want to make a trip to the post office, (also for an additional charge) you can customize your own matching stamps too! Mom and I made our final choices and zipped in our orders.
Thrilled to check our Christmas cards off the list, we were beside ourselves when in about a week, the box from Minted arrived! Upon opening, we discovered our Christmas cards to be every bit as beautiful… and more… than we dreamed!
Mom and Dad chose the “Joyful” card with their customized message on the back.
Last week with Christmas music playing and hot spiced cider in our cups, we got together at Mom’s for a relaxing and fun afternoon. We stuffed our envelopes, put on the stamps (we bought ours from the post office), and then “unbelievably” dropped them all in the mail. It is the first week of December, and our cards are done!
So if your to-do list includes holiday/Christmas cards, in our humble opinion, Minted is the way to go. With their “100% satisfaction guarantee,” this company is truly a rare and wonderful discovery.
In addition to the FREE recipient address option, they are offering 20% off holiday card orders $150+, 15% off $100+ for a limited time.
We can truly say, it is less stressful to get your cards ready and mailed out early, BUT… in case you are running a little behind this year, there is still time. Check out Minted for their dates and deadlines.
All opinions are ours, but we encourage you to see what Minted is all about.
